About

The St. Joseph Rising Scholarship Programme is a flagship youth development initiative of the St. Joseph Parish Independence Committee (SJPIC), created to recognise and reward young people who exemplify academic commitment, leadership, community involvement, and civic responsibility.

This scholarship supports one secondary school student annually who is a resident of St. Joseph or attends a secondary school within the parish, and who demonstrates leadership potential and a desire to make a positive difference in their community.

Recipients are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance and good behaviour, continue participating in community service, and serve as positive ambassadors for St. Joseph — helping to build a lasting legacy of empowerment, leadership, and service for generations to come.
